P.T. HALIM SAKTI has been engaged for almost 30 years in supplying the need of Indonesia's Industries with Specialty and Industrial Chemicals. The Company was established in 1972 by Mr. Jusuf Halim under the name of P.D. Halim (P.D. means Trading Company). In 1976, the company was reorganized to become Private Limited Company and the name change to P.T. HALIM SAKTI.
As the business and market activities of P.T. HALIM SAKTI grew, trading office P.T. HALIM SARANA CAHAYA SEMESTA set up in Surabaya to serve the trading activities in eastern part of Indonesia and later followed by establishment of trading company in Medan, P.T. HALIM SEJAHTERA CIPTA MANDIRI to serve the business in North Sumatra and the surrounding area
Beside trading activities, we stated into manufacturing and established our first manufacturing plant in Surabaya, P.T. SINAR PERMATA HALIM SWADAYA producing cake emulsifier "RYOTO ESTER SP". This product was imported from Japan and market in Indonesia prior to local production. Beside selling for domestic market, P.T. SINAR PERMATA HALIM SWADAYA has export their product to serval countries.
P.T. HALIM SAMUDRA INTERUTAMA, a joint venture company with Korean and Japanese partners was established in 1989 as a pioneer of Plastic Compound and Thermoplastic Rubber Compound manufacture in Indonesia. The current production includes Masterbatches, Calcium Carbonate Masterbatches, ABS Compound, TPR Compound and various kind of Plastic Compound and various kind of Plastic Compound which products are sold domestically as well as exported to serveral countries.
With the growing volume of import as well as export quantities, P.T. PASTILANCAR MITRALANGGENG a forwarding agent company was established to ensure smooth handling of clearance and transporting the imported cargo from port to company's warehouse and vice verse for export products.
In 1997, P.T. HALIM SAKTI was restructured to become Holding Company and P.T. HALIM SAKTI PRATAMA was established to continue the operating activities of P.T. HALIM SAKTI.
Till today, we have been maintaining and grow within our core business and will consistently follow this path
